Almost Christmas - DVD Trailer
Ah Christmas. For those who celebrate this time of year, you are going to have two types of feelings; you may be exhausted already by the decorations and Christmas songs or you may be that one person who is already stuffing themselves with mince pies and wearing Christmas jumpers. If you are on the former side of things, I feel you. Whilst I love the spirit of Yuletide shenanigans on the actual day, I actually hate the build-up and stress of it all. In fact, I’d rather stay in October and November, please and thank you.
Anyway, this time of year is particularly tiresome as a gazillion different films come our way in order to celebrate the holiday and, frankly, some look appalling.
Luckily, going straight to DVD is Almost Christmas, a film that stars Paul Rudd because apparently he isn’t a big enough star to not have to do these things. The film revolves around Dennis, played by Paul Giammati, who is released from prison before the holidays and tracks down his young brother. Hijinks ensue.
Yes, this looks pretty spectacularly rubbish and the DVD is probably going in the bargin bin of your local supermarket. Krampus looks a million times better. There’s a Parks and Recreation joke I could fit in there, but I’m not going to. Except…Bobby Newport has never done a good Christmas film in his life…
Almost Christmas is out on DVD 2nd of November.
