Creed - "Generations" Featurette
There are a whole heap of reboots and remakes out there that have made us a bit weary of this whole film malarkey. Through the tired rehash of our classic films, it feels like we have been transported back to the olden days (the eighties) and nobody knows exactly what time we are in. So in swaggers Creed, a project that lifts off from Sylvester Stallone’s own Rocky series and brings it into the modern era with the help of the hottest young actor out there - Michael B Jordan.
Anyway, Creed revolves around Apollo’s son Adonis (because bad names are genetic). A rapscallion on the streets, Adonis has had a bad life and has suffered since the death of his father. Anyway, he decides that he wants to follow in the footsteps of his father and enlists the help of that gruff Rocky to help him…. Cue movie montage!
So for those who aren’t fans of the boxing epic, then it is pretty much a moot release but the brand new featurette has been released and it certainly fleshes out the plot. Also, as an actor, despite Fantastic Four, Jordan is on an elevated career step…
