Have you ever done anything wrong that you’d want to hermit yourself away from the world for so long? Maybe you fell over embarrassingly on a night out or sent a saucy text, by mistake, to a love one instead of a lover? The pull to completely shelter yourself from society is a massive one and an idea explored in upcoming Chilean film - The Club.
The film revolves around four men who live together in a secluded house by the sea. Under the watchful eye of a female caretaker, the men are there to purge themselves of their sins. However, their routine is disrupted by a fifth man who is bringing all their troubles from the past!
Nominated for Best Foreign Language Film at the Golden Globess and Winner of Silver Bear at Berlin International, The Club looks like a poignant and turning movie from director Pablo Larrain. An interesting turning drama, this will be one to watch.
