Oh, it’s good to see Keanu Reeves back in business.
Not only has the actor scored big with thrillers and action pieces such as John Wick and Knock Knocn, but the unaged actor has his fans back, setting Hollywood aflame once again with his stoic yet emotional acting.
Here he returns as a lawyer in drama The Whole Truth.
The film revolves around defence attorney Richard Ramsay who is asked to defend a 17 year old who is suspected of killing his father. The case seems clear, especially as the boy has supposedly admitted it. But as Ramsay works, he starts to uncover a bigger, twisted story.
It looks like a very melodramatic film with inklings of Lifetime running throughout its veins. It’s also still alarming to see such a change of face for Renee Zellweger and this is definitely not going to scale up to lofty heights. Still there is an intrigue here, did he do it?
