When it comes to promoting a horror movie, what’s the best way forward? Do you fill every waking moment with horrific posters, brand new clips, and constant reminders that it is coming? Or do you creep up to the release date with a very clever regime that haunts the back of your mind?

For The Witch, it’s a little of both. There are a lot of featurettes coming BUT they aren’t giving too much away from the actual sorry, so the hype and fear is still there.
